Yesterday, Tuesday, was the editorial deadline for the programme for this PPP World Championship, and as of today it is being printed. Edited by Manfred Greve from the Nordhorn headquarters of PingPongParkinson Germany, with layout by Marc Buddensieg from the Life/Work Planning Institute in Hanover, the result is a 60-page booklet in DIN A4 format that leaves nothing to be desired.
All players and spectators will find valuable information about the tournament inside. They will be set in the right frame of mind for the tournament with four welcome messages, will find the timetable and the most important table tennis rules and guidelines on sporting conduct, and will be informed about the four different ways to keep up to date with the tournament proceedings. Statistics on the previous six PPP World Championships – and, of course, on this seventh one – are presented, as are the list of participants, the list of volunteers and information about Turnklubb Hannover, whose volunteers play a key role in organising this event.
The booklet will be handed out to participants during accreditation and will be available to spectators in the SwissLifeHall.
