Respect and fair play are absolutely vital at PPP

PingPongParkinson attaches the utmost importance to ensuring that participants treat one another with respect at its tournaments. Fair play amongst participants is more important than winning. Unfortunately, whilst the vast majority of participants have taken this to heart in the past, not everyone has. This has prompted the organisers to set out the rules for respectful behaviour towards one another, in order to emphasise this point once again ahead of this PPP World Championship.

On the tournament website at https://pppwc.net/, a new menu item titled ‘Respect’ now explicitly highlights this aspect.

Given the importance of this issue, in extreme cases of non-compliance, players may be removed from the tournament and spectators may be ejected from the halls.
