Originally, today was scheduled to be the final day of the online registration period for doubles and mixed doubles pairs, as further scheduling of the tournament programme over the five days was to take place thereafter. However, this objective can be achieved with the entries received so far, without the need to close the registration period.
The organising committee has therefore decided simply to allow the online registration period to continue until next Tuesday, 22 September at 11.59 pm. This will still leave the whole of Wednesday to prepare the partner matching system, during which the final pairings will be finalised.
So far, 77 per cent of the men have registered or confirmed their doubles partner, 85 per cent of the women have registered or confirmed their female doubles partner, and 97 per cent of the women have registered or confirmed their mixed doubles partner. Some registrations are still pending as they are awaiting confirmation from their partner; other players are definitely taking part but do not wish to play doubles or mixed doubles and have not yet registered this. This option to withdraw remains available and should be used by those who do not wish to take part in the doubles or mixed doubles competitions, although in the case of mixed doubles this applies only to the women.
As before, please direct any questions regarding doubles registration exclusively to pppwc2026@ttm.co.at.
