The deadline for registering doubles and mixed partners is fast approaching. For the first time at this PPP World Championship, a new procedure will be introduced, one that has already proved its worth at numerous other tournaments. All players must register their doubles and mixed partners via the online entry system they used to register for the tournament, between 6 and 16 September.
Detailed instructions on the procedure can be found in the third circular to all participants under point B 6. It consists of three steps: Logging in to the website https://www.ttm.co.at/pppwc2026/, searching for and selecting a doubles partner yourself (if you are looking for a doubles partner) or your doubles partner (if they wish to have you as their doubles partner), and finally confirming or rejecting the doubles partner yourself (in the case of a request from another player) or your doubles partner (in the case of a request made by you).
As the system sends all these notifications by email, you should check your emails regularly over the next few days to see if any requests, rejections or confirmations have been received. You should also respond to requests as quickly as possible, either by rejecting or confirming them. However, this response must not be sent by email, but must be made via the system.
Please search for or register your doubles and mixed doubles partner as soon as possible, particularly if you have not yet arranged a partner in advance. The longer you wait, the fewer partners will be available. And gentlemen, please bear in mind that there are three times as many men as women taking part in this tournament. In mixed doubles, therefore, only one in three men will be able to play at all.
Anyone who still does not have a doubles partner by 17 September but wishes to play doubles can try again on site in Hanover on Thursday or Friday at the partner exchange (next to the accreditation desk).
